Application:
Blue silica gel is designed for environments where visual monitoring of saturation is necessary. It is used in sealed containers, instrument enclosures, moisture-sensitive electronics, and industrial air dryers. The beads turn blue (dry) to pink (wet) upon water adsorption.
Packing:
200kg steel drums or normal commercial packaging.
Storage:
When stored in original sealed packages in a cool, dry condition, the product has a shelf life of three years if packaged in big bags and five years if packaged in drums
Blue Indicating Silica Gel Desiccant
It is Blue Indicating Silica Gel, it contains cobalt chloride which allows the blue silica gel changes its color to pink when it reached the max adsorption capacity. When it is reactviated with heat to dry our the moisture, the pink color will trun to blue again, blue silical gel is for industrial use, do not use blue silica gel for food as the cobalt chloride is poisonous material.
BR enables users to visually confirm when the desiccant is needs to be replaced or regenerated.
