Application:

It is particularly effective in food packaging films, stretch films, and agricultural films due to its low volatility, excellent thermal stability (up to 220°C), and FDA compliance for food-contact applications. The additive works at low concentrations (typically 0.1–0.5% by weight), providing smooth film handling and improved machinability in high-speed packaging operations while maintaining optical clarity. Its slower migration rate compared to oleamide makes it suitable for applications requiring long-term slip performance, such as synthetic papers and specialty laminates.
