    It is a spherical bead silicate gel which is a porous, amorphous form of silica (SiO2). Although it has the same chemical composition as sand, silica gel is radically different from other SiO2-based materials due to its unique internal structure.

    SG-127 can be used for drying purpose when adsorption capacity is greater than molecular sieve for the specific operating conditions or when the required water outlet concentration is not very low.

    SG-127 can be used as buffer layer for adsorber bed protection. DehySorb® SG-127 can be used in dewpointing or hydrocarbon recovery units.

    Form: Spheres: 1.5-3.0 mm, 2.0-5.0 mm (other sizes are also available)

    Sock-loading Density: 700-760 kg/m3 ± 3% depending on loading technique

    Qualified Size: ≥ 90 %

    Adsorption Capacity (RH=10%): ≥ 6 %

    Dry Loss: ≤ 2 %

    Packaging: 150 kg in 200 liter metal drums, 500 kg in 1.100 liter super sacks (IBC flexible)

    Associated Applications
