Used in the pharmaceutical industry, electroplating industry, synthetic diamond industry and electropolishing industry, also used in the production of grinding wheels to remove carbon particles. Used as a strong oxidant, it is also used in the production of fireworks and explosives. 50% of high-perchloric acid is used to make the solution of acrylonitrile polymer , and the raw materials for the manufacture of metal perchlorate,also used as chemical reagent.
Storage and handing precaution:
Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place. Protect from moisture, seals, leaks, and away from flammable and reducing substances! The ventilated warehouse is not close to the fire and heat source. The temperature should not exceed 30°C.Keep the container sealed, and store separately from acids, alkalis, amines, etc., and prohibited to blend with others. All stored areas should be equipped with full emergency equipment and prepared the appropriate collected materials for the leakage.
Precautions:The operation should be mechanized and automated as much as possible, operators must conduct special training and strictly abide by the operating procedures.
