Application: Zeolite X is a synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate molecular sieve with a pore size of approximately 7.4 angstroms (Å) and a Si/Al ratio of about 1 to 1.5. It is commonly used for adsorption of water and hydrocarbons, drying of gases, and as an intermediate pore size adsorbent in petrochemical processes. Zeolite Y is a synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate with a pore size of approximately 7.4 angstroms (Å) and a Si/Al ratio between 2 and 3. It offers higher thermal and chemical stability than Zeolite X. Widely used in catalytic cracking, adsorption of gases, and drying applications in petrochemical and refining industries.
