Application:
Plastics: UV-3039 is highly effective in stabilizing a wide range of plastics, including PVC (both flexible and rigid), polyurethanes, styrenic polymers, polyesters, polyamides, and acrylics. It's particularly useful in applications where liquid dosing is required during processing, such as in unsaturated polyesters, acrylics, flexible PVC, and paint formulations.
PVC and PVC Plastisols: It's well-suited for stabilizing PVC-p and PVC plastisols due to its good compatibility with plasticizers.
Coatings: UV-3039 can be incorporated into coatings to enhance their resistance to UV degradation and improve their overall durability.
Adhesives: It can be used in adhesives to prevent the breakdown of the adhesive properties when exposed to sunlight.
PUR, Polyesters, and PMMA,
It can also be used in these materials to improve their anti-aging performance when exposed to UV radiation.
Combination with other additives: UV-3039 can be used alone or in combination with other additives like antioxidants and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) to achieve a synergistic effect and improve performance.
